Q: How do I purchase a Home Study, Online Course or Live Seminar and can I purchase more than one at a time?

A: Yes, you can purchase multiple courses and combine Home Study, Online and Live Seminars in one order. Select the course of your choice by adding it to the Shopping Cart. Once you have added a course to the Shopping Cart, you can continue adding courses by clicking the corresponding button on the left hand menu i.e., Home Study, Online or Live Seminars. The Shopping Cart will remember what you have selected. If you wish to delete an item, click on the Trash Can icon located to the right hand side of that item. Once you are done shopping click on the RED proceed to checkout button located on both the top and bottom of the Shopping Cart page. You will then be sent to our Registration/Checkout page. New Users must complete an online registration form. Returning customers simply login with their username and password before entering payment information.



Q: How many course credits can I earn online or by home study?

A: State policies vary on how many hours can be completed online or by home study. Many states allow 100% of your CE Credits earned from on-line or home study offerings. But not all states are the same. Please consult with your state board concerning their continuing education policies.



Q: Can I take an on-line or home study exam without first reading the study guide?

A: We do not prohibit your taking an exam without first reading the study guide. However, you will only have two passes through the post test before being subject to a retest fee. To receive the maximum educational benefits and avoid frustration, we recommend thoroughly reviewing the entire study guide before taking the exam. Please carefully read the instructions inside the study guide to get the answers to more commonly asked questions.



Q: Once I have purchased a home study or on-line course how soon will I have access to it?

A: On-Line: On-line courses can be accessed and completed immediately if purchased by credit card. You may also pay by check if you prefer; however, you will not have access to your on-line course until we've received payment. Home Study: Most home studies are shipped via USPS priority mail within 48 hours. USPS Priority Mail offers 1-3 day service to most domestic destinations.



Q: What score do I need to pass an exam and earn CE credit?

A: Passing score on all home study or on-line courses is 80% or above.



Q: What if I don't pass a Home Study or Online exam?

A: All Program Services exams are open book. However, if you should fail to pass, you may review the subject material and take the test again. But note that you will only have two passes through the test before being subject to a retest fee. Active on-line and home study courses expire 180 days from the date of purchase; however, an additional 30 days can be granted if you request it BEFORE your course expires. Please contact us if you think you may need an extension.



Q: Can I exit and return to an on-line exam or close the study guide if I'm not finished with it?

A: Yes. You may exit the exam at any time. The “Your Account” database will automatically keep track of your answers and allow you to start from where you left off, as long as you click on the save answers button located at the bottom of the exam page. Clicking on Complete Exam and Download Study Guide, found on "Online Courses" page allows you to enter and exit your course as many times as you wish. Please note: If you would like to retain a single copy of the study guide material for future reference, you must save a copy to your hard drive. Once you successfully pass the exam, you will no longer have access to the study guide or completed exam. You will be able to review missed questions.



Q: Where is my account?

A: When you visit our website you will enter on our home page. Login using the username and password you created and your account box will appear on the left. These include account settings, change password, order history, your online courses, your home studies and logout. We have designed the website to prevent you from creating a second account. If you have misplaced your user information click "help" on the home page and follow the prompts to get your account information.



Q: What if I forget my username or password?

A: Click "Lost password or Username" on the right top of the Home Page, follow the prompts to obtain your user information.



Q: I'm going to need longer than 180 days to complete the course. Can I get additional time?

A: You can contact us BEFORE your course expires to get an additional 30 days to complete your course.



Q: Do I have to fill out the course evaluation form?

A: To receive your CE credit, you must complete the course evaluation form which accompanies each course. Online courses will not preceed to the certificate without completion of the evaluation. If you submit a home study post test without the evaluation we will contact you to obtain the completed evaluation before we can email your certificate.



Q: How will I receive confirmation that I have successfully achieved a passing score on an either an on-line course or home study?

A: On-line: Once you complete an on-line course and pass the exam, you will be able to view your passing score; in addition, you will be able to review which questions you missed along with the correct answers. After you complete the course evaluation the print certificate icon will appear. The certificate will remain at your account if you need to print additional copies at a later date. Home Study: Once we have received your completed exam and evaluation form we will score the test and if you pass we will email your certificate to you. Be sure that you have provided us with your correct email address, license information, and your phone number. Hold on to your certificate we charge as $20 replacement fee effective 30 days after we email your original certificate.



Q: What kind of computer do I need to take Program Services on-line courses?

A: Program Services courses are designed to run on PCs and laptops with Apple and Windows, & Lynux operating systems, using I-Explore, Mozilla, and Google browsers. Other operating systems and browsers may work as well.



Q: Do I have to be online to take the course?

A: You can view your course material on-line if you wish; however, if you download (save) or print out the study guide, you need only be on-line to complete the posttest/evaluation and print out your certificate.



Q: I registered and purchased an on-line course, but can't access it. I am getting an error message. What should I do?

A: Please contact us by phone or email. These problems are rare and can generally be solved quite easily. If you don't reach us by phone please send us a detailed email as it may result in a faster remedy to the problem.



Q: Is it safe to give my credit card number for payment online?

A: Program Services uses a encrypted secure server that protects all credit card and confidential information transactions. Read more about our security protocols on the policies page. The green bar on our URL is an extended validity SSL certificate affording our users more confidence in using our site. We do not store credit card information on our site and do not use open SSL which is more vulnerable to virus and attacks.



Q: Will I be notified automatically when Program Services offers new courses?

A: If you checked the box to receive our newsletter emails you will be notified of new course availability.



Q: What if I'm dissatisfied with a course after I've done some of it or completed it?

A: Program Services is dedicated to providing quality continuing education in strict conformance with the ethical principles of professional associations that approved our organization to be a provider of continuing education. Anyone with a specific grievance concerning the quality of a CE course, as determined by the Continuing Education Director or our Provider Compliance Review Consultant will receive credit for an alternative course of equal cost or length.
